What sort of materials make good paintball armor?

What sort of materials make good paintball armor?
I’m going to try and make some Halo Spartan armor to use when I play paintball, but all the guides I find use stuff like cardboard and paper. I don’t want to be picky, but I need something cheap, sturdy, light and easy to wash/work with.

Also, if there is some sort of armor like this for sale already, a link would be nice.

Doing a quick search, I couldn’t find any already made mjolir armor for paintball. The best stuff to use would be light weight plastic like in dirt bike armor. That could get pricey especially if you have it custom made. You could use resin or fiberglass to make it too. Though if you are wanting to make actual working paintball armor, then it’s gonna get pricey at some point.
